Absentee voters fretting whether DeKalb County will accept their white ballot envelopes no longer have to worry.
“The statewide vendor inadvertently printed absentee return envelopes on white stock, instead of the normal yellow stock,” DeKalb officials said in a press release. “Because of the high volume of absentee requests and to maintain efficiency in processing requests, the white envelopes were used until a new shipment could be
received.”

So, voters who received mailed absentee ballots envelopes on white card stock can mail in your ballot and have your vote counted.
Earlier this week, the county said it had received fewer than five complaints the absentee ballot process.
As of Wednesday evening, DeKalb had received 6,161 absentee ballots, according to the county's elections office.
