Cops: Man dies after crashing motorcycle early Sunday
A man was killed early Sunday morning when he crashed his motorcycle at the intersection of E. Paces Ferry Rd at Roxboro Road, according to Atlanta police.
Terry J. Fernandez was traveling east on E. Paces Ferry Road when he lost control of his motorcycle and left the roadway, police said. Fernandez traveled up an embankment, struck a tree and was ejected from the motorcycle.
Fernandez sustained serious trauma to his body and was pronounced deceased at the scene, police said. Speed appears to be a contributing factor in this accident, police said.
The accident is being further investigated by the Atlanta Police Traffic Fatality Unit.
