Gwinnett County police are searching for a man they believe broke into five restaurants in Peachtree Corners and Norcross, stealing more than $2,000 in cash.
The unknown suspect first broke into The Federal Coffee on Spalding Drive in Peachtree Corners arorund 3 a.m. Jan. 24. He smashed a glass door and went to a manager’s office, where he took $1,000 in cash. He then went to Taaj Market Kabab Grill, also on Spalding Drive, where he broke in and took $100.

The suspect later burglarized Ten Bistro and Osteria di Mare, both restaurants at 5005 Peachtree Parkway. The suspect entered Ten Bistro around 4:15 a.m., smashed a glass door at Osteria di Mare at 4:23 a.m. and left at 4:25 a.m., police said. The suspect broke into Tavern at Medlock in Norcross at 5:05 p.m., shattering a glass door and stealing $1,000 in cash.
The suspect was described as a man about 5 foot 6 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. During the burglaries, he wore 2015 Nike Air Max shoes, a gray hoodie, jogging pants and some kind of face covering. He carried a flashlight and wore one black glove and one white glove.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers tips may be rewarded with up to $2,000 if they lead to an arrest or indictment.
