Two men tied up a woman and her son and “ransacked” their Lawrenceville home in a March 11 home invasion, Gwinnett County police said.

The men forced entry into the home on Hanover West Court during the early morning hours, according to a police report. They zip-tied the woman’s wrists together and bound the boy with a belt, the report said.

The men demanded cash from the woman, who said she did not have any, but gave them a ring from her finger and asked them not to hurt anyone in the house. The men searched multiple rooms of the house before leaving the woman and her son tied up in the home. The woman was able to call 911 and police responded around 7:15 a.m.

Detailed descriptions of the two men were not provided. The two men left the home in a “black or dark colored passenger car.”

Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers tips may be rewarded with up to $2,000 if they lead to an arrest or indictment.
