Gwinnett County police are searching for a man who allegedly raped a woman at knifepoint and struck her car with his own vehicle when she tried to escape.

Eugenio German, 40, is wanted on charges of aggravated assault by strangulation, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, rape, false imprisonment and battery.

German knew the victim before the alleged attack, according to police. The police department said it is “very important” to find German because “there is a chance he may try to find the victim and commit more violence upon her.”
