Elizabeth Bryant had “multiple stab wounds to her neck,” when Chamblee police arrived to an apartment complex about a person stabbed early Thursday morning, according to a police report obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

When cops questioned her boyfriend Patrick Inch about the fatal stabbing, not only did he admit to the killing he told them where the weapon was: in the kitchen sink.

On Monday, Inch remained in the DeKalb County jail on a murder charge in connection with deadly stabbing at the Sierra Village Apartments on Oak Shadow Court.

“It was an argument that escalated,” Chamblee police Capt. Ernesto Ford said in an email to the AJC. “It appears that alcohol was a factor.”

According to the police report, Chamblee officers interviewed Inch, who waived his Miranda rights. Police said Inch then admitted to stabbing Bryant with a knife and placing it in the kitchen sink.

Inch, 46, had been in and out of jail on abusive incidents tied to alcohol since 2012, according to online DeKalb County jail and court records. Chamblee police have not said if Bryant was the victim in any of the other cases.
