Cobb police are looking for an armed man who allegedly robbed a T-Mobile store of its cell phones.

According to Cobb police, a man armed with a handgun entered the store at 2900 Delk Road Suite 900 in Marietta around 10:20 a.m. May 18 and approached employees who were standing in the main area of the store.

He told them to place cell phones and accessories into a bag and to stay in a backroom. The accused robber left the store and fled the scene in a waiting black Nissan Versa.

Cobb police spokesperson Neil Penirelli said these type of crimes happen throughout the metro Atlanta, but it’s unclear whether this case is connected to others reported in surrounding jurisdictions. He also said he did not have any information on the number of items taken or the value of the cell phones and accessories.

Cobb police say T-Mobile is offering a reward through Crime Stoppers Atlanta. You can submit a tip with information related to the case by calling 404-577-TIPS (8477). Tipsters can remain anonymous.
