Veronnica Hastings took this picture of a blue-fronted dancer in July while kayaking the Broad River in northeast Georgia. Taken with her iPhone, she wrote, “I couldn’t believe I got this close!” According to the website Insect Indentifier, the blue-fronted dancer (Argia apicalis) is a damselfly that flits and bounces as it flies making it a natural choreographer.
