A downtown Atlanta attraction popular with sports fans is hosting multiple events and promotions over the next couple of months.

The Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame, with its indoor 45-yard playing field, is offering free admission for first responders with a valid ID from Nov. 18 to Nov. 25. Also, metro Atlanta residents with ID will receive a discounted rate of $17.99 (normally $21.99 for adults) at the box office, plus a discount at the retail store.

As for events, "Tailgate Saturdays" with game screenings, tailgate games, trivia, a scavenger hunt and prizes will take place Dec. 1 and 15. On Dec. 6, the ESPN College Football Awards Red Carpet Show — dubbed "College Football's version of The Oscars" — will be hosted by Maria Taylor from 6 to 7 p.m. Fans can bring gear and items to be signed by players and coaches; reserve a spot by emailing info@cfbhall.com.

Of course, The Hall will also have holiday-themed decorations from Dec. 10 to Jan. 4. Guests will be able to take photos with Santa and “Fumbles the Elf” on Dec. 15, 16, 22 and 23.
