Cobb Travel & Tourism has received its annual contribution from the Cobb County Board of Commissioners but from a different source.
Since extra money is not available in the Hotel/Motel Tax Fund this year, $40,000 will be donated from the county’s undesignated contingency fund due to a vote Tuesday by the commissioners.
Cobb travel and tourism has an economic impact of $1.7 billion and supports more than 25,000 jobs.
