Crews will intermittently close lanes and ramps on a six-mile stretch of Interstate 75 this weekend north of SunTrust Park.

The Georgia Department of Transportation said Friday that the affected area will start at Delk Road and end around Canton Road as contractors continue work that includes resurfacing.

Starting at 9 p.m. Friday and wrapping up about 1 p.m. Sunday, the southbound closures will include:

• Four right lanes and the outside right shoulder of I-75 southbound from Canton (exit 267) to Delk (exit 261)

• The North Marietta Parkway/120 Alt (exit 265) exit ramps; traffic will be detoured to the Delk exit.

• The North Marietta Parkway/120 Alt (exit 265) entrance ramps; traffic will be directed to U.S. 41, then to Delk and I-75 southbound.

This is all a few exits up from SunTrust Park. The Braves play the Dodgers there at 8:07 p.m. on Sunday, so hopefully the closures won't affect game traffic.

Overhead signs and message boards in the Marietta area will alert drivers of the closures in advance, directing them to the next open I-75 access point.
