Cobb school board to consider new school calendar

The Cobb County Board of Education will consider changes to the district calendar at Thursday’s meeting. The changes could impact the 2011-12 and 2012-13 school year, and the board is asking parents to voice their preference online at the district’s website, www.cobbk12.org. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held at the district’s headquarters at 514 Glover St. in Marietta
