Fayetteville’s newly formed Citizen Budget Committee will meet for the third time at 6 p.m. on May 15 at City Hall, 240 S. Glynn Street, to discuss items related to the General Fund and the Capital Projects Fund.

The volunteer committee was recently appointed to provide additional financial input to the City Council, and consists of Ron Cantoni, Michael Koenig, Abraham Morrall, Frederick Saylor, Janet Vickers and Lavada Zahir. Mayor Ed Johnson and council members Paul Oddo and Rich Hoffman will also attend, and the public is invited to participate as well.

The budget committee does not have set terms or a regular meeting schedule, but will convene periodically until the city’s 2018-19 budget is finalized in July.
