Chipotle has announced it will open four new restaurants with drive-thru lanes, including one in Cobb County.
The four restaurants will open at 3999 Austell Road in Austell; 1135 Highway 85 N in Fayetteville; 285 Marketplace Boulevard in Dawsonville; and 101 City Circle in Peachtree City. Chipotle said the Austell restaurant will open Wednesday, Nov. 13.
Each location will include what the restaurant calls a Chipotlane, a drive-thru pickup lane so patrons can retrieve their digital orders without leaving their cars.
The company said the three remaining restaurants are expected to open before the end of the year. Grand opening celebrations at each restaurant will include free Chipotle-branded items to the first 50 customers in line at each restaurant.
The Austell location will be the second Chipotle with a drive-thru lane. In July, the company opened its first Chipotlane accompanying a new restaurant at 3606 Sandy Plains Road in Marietta.
Hours of operation for each store will be 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week. The company said each restaurant will employ about 25 people, and anyone interested in joining the Chipotle team can visit its website.
