The Cherokee County School District announced the opening of the Express Gateway, an online system that lets parents and guardians update basic contact information for their children without calling a school or filling out more paper forms.

Updatable information includes the student's address; parent's home, mobile and work phone numbers; parent's email address; application for free or reduced-price lunch; student's primary phone number; and early dismissal information updates. To open the gateway, go to: https://express.cherokeek12.net/

To log in, parents will need the student’s local ID, sometimes referred to as the “lunch number”; and a password, which is the student’s GTID (Georgia Testing Identifier), a 10-digit number assigned by the Georgia Department of Education.

These are the same credentials the parent may have used to log into the Back-to-School Gateway. Report cards issued in October also will have this information; or, parents can contact their student's school. Information: https://bit.ly/2NrroDV
