The tree-lighting ceremony will begin at 3 p.m., with holiday-themed music, a live DJ and a performance from local cover band The Throwback Experience. Santa and Papa Elf will also make a “special appearance”.

After nightfall, there will be a showing of “The Santa Clause” as part of a special installment of the mall’s “Movies Under the Stars” event series.

Food and beverages will be available from nearby restaurants, and adults can get alcoholic beverages from those restaurants and bring them into the Village.
