Brookhaven will start a construction project this week.

City contractors will begin milling and paving Johnson Ferry Road from the eastern city limits to Durden Drive on Wednesday, Oct. 21. The work is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This work will be followed by repaving Byrnwyck Road beginning Oct. 22 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.

Motorists should anticipate and prepare for traffic delays.
