West Palm Beach prostitution sting nets 5 arrests

Five women were arrested Wednesday in a prostitution sting in the north end of the city, West Palm Beach police said.

Authorities picked up the women, who range in age from 30 to 55, along the Broadway corridor between 49th and 56th streets.

All face prostitution-related charges.

Palm Beach County jail records indicate the women live near West Palm Beach.

Wednesday's operation was the first to net multiple arrests since May, records show. Previously, police had been conducting prostitution operations in the north end of the city every few weeks for months.
