The Friends of Sandy Springs Library will host a month-long sale of hard-cover fiction and biography to help raise funds for its programs.

The group, which operates a bookstore inside the facility, is selling books at two for $5 and also is selling $5 raffle tickets for a handcrafted table.

The shop at the library branch on Mount Vernon Highway has room to sell nearly 4,000 used books and other donated media such as audiobooks and compact discs.

Money raised from the sales goes toward children’s programs, buying new materials and special projects at the branch.
