Austell qualifying fees set for four races

Austell qualifying fees have been set for the mayor and three city council posts to be decided on Nov. 3.

The posts are held now by Mayor Joe Jerkins, At-Large Post 2 Councilwoman Suzanne A. Thomason, Ward 4 Councilwoman Virginia A. Reagan and Ward 2 Councilman Scott S. Thomas.

Fees are $900 for mayor and $360 for city council.

The qualifying dates have not been determined yet.
