Auburn has partnered with Lew Oliver Inc. Whole Town Solutions, the designer behind Serenbe, Vickery, Glenwood Park and Pinewood Forest to participate in the city’s master planning process.

Auburn’s Mayor and City Council began discussions in December after viewing the first rendition based on the city’s initial planning charrette for the south side of the downtown project. Among the items to be included are a city hall, elementary school, potential brewery and other new business prospects, existing businesses who would like to expand or relocate within downtown district, Whistlestop Shops, townhomes, estate lots, and a multi-use trail.

The plan will most likely change to some degree to accommodate various requirements needed at city hall, as well as engineering adjustments, land availability, and market conditions. Perimeters of the plan are set up to tie in to adjoining properties in the event of future developments.
