Jon Gallagher and Paul Christensen will visit Graves Elementary School on Thursday, April 19. They will partner with students in a cleanup of the school’s learning garden as a part of Major League Soccer’s Greener Goals Week of Service. The week, in its third year, is in recognition of Earth Day and involves players across the league.

The cleanup is being held in partnership with the Captain Planet Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by Ted Turner to fund environmental education and projects in K-12 schools across the country. The foundation is currently working on expanding school garden programs in metro Atlanta, according to a release.

The Graves Elementary cleanup will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
