Love is apparently in the air around Atlanta as the city has once again ranked among the best in the country to ring in Valentine's Day.

That's according to a new report from personal finance website WalletHub, for which analysts compared the 100 most populated cities in the nation across four key dimensions: budget, activities, gift accessibility and weather forecast.
Those four dimensions were evaluated based on 23 relevant metrics, such as average movie ticket prices, restaurants per capita, forecasted precipitation for Valentine’s Day and more.

Of the top 100 most populated cities in the U.S., San Francisco earned top honors for best places to spend Valentine’s Day. New York; Las Vegas; San Diego, California and Honolulu, Hawaii rounded out the top five.
All the way at the bottom of the pack: Hialeah, Florida; Detroit, Michigan and Newark, New Jersey.
Atlanta ranked No. 12 on the list, up from its spot at 18th last year.
