If you’re on Facebook, you’ve likely seen scores of friends and organizations asking you to donate to their cause this Giving Tuesday.

But the Atlanta Humane Society upped the ante again this year. As in years past, the Humane Society livestreamed four adorable puppies playing, sleeping and exploring their little corner of the facility.

“Happy Giving Tuesday! For every donation made, these puppies will get a new toy, so you can make their day by giving generously!” the Facebook livestream states.

True enough, each time someone donated, another toy was added to the mix for the pups to play with.

By the end of the livestream, the Atlanta Humane Society had raised $2,407, and puppies had lots of stuffed animals to sleep on.

Each puppy was available for adoption at the Mansell campus (1565 Mansell Road, Alpharetta, GA 30009).

Adoption fees are $300 and include spay/neuter surgery, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations and dewormer, a starter bag of food, a collar, a complimentary vet visit, and a month of pet insurance, the Humane Society replied when someone asked how much it would cost to take a puppy home.

Since 2012, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (and Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday) has been known as Giving Tuesday.

It’s meant to kickoff the season of year-end giving worldwide.
