Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System hosts meetings on renovations

The Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System will host a series of meetings to discuss “Group 2” library renovations. Residents are invited to provide input on the renovation of their local library.

Gabriel Morley, executive director of Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System; Gayle Holloman, deputy director; Al Collins, bond administrator, Fulton County Government and representatives from McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture and Chasm Architecture will hold five public meetings in March and April to gather community input about the renovation of the Ocee, Buckhead, Northside, Northeast/Spruill Oaks and Mechanicsville libraries. The meetings will take place at the corresponding library branch with presentations by Fulton County’s building team, Design Builder, Evergreen Construction, McAfee3 Architects and Library staff.

The Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System serves the citizens of Fulton County and the City of Atlanta (including the portion of the city in DeKalb County). It is the largest in the state, with 34 libraries and a collection of more than 2.5 million items.
