The Asian bakery that inspired a cult-following with its Buford Highway pastries and bubble tea has broken ground on a Kennesaw location.

Sweet Hut Bakery told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution it hopes to open the new location by April.

It will be located on the west side of Chastain Meadows Parkway and north of Barrett Parkway, according to a Cobb County zoning hearing agenda.

The original Buford Highway location, where Love & Hip Hop Atlanta once shot a season finale, was followed by stores in Midtown and Duluth.

The Duluth location had a grand opening July 18, according to the Sweet Hut website.
