Cobb County residents are invited to celebrate the unofficial end of the summer at Marietta Square with the 33rd annual Art in the Park.

The three-day, family-friendly event will be held Saturday, Aug. 31 through Monday, Sept. 2 at Glover Park on the square.

Art in the Park will feature work from more than 175 artists, a children’s area, Chalk Spot street art display, food trucks, entertainment and more. About 45,000 people are expected to attend the event, according to organizers.

The art show will feature works in oil, pastel, woodworking, glass, photography, jewelry, watercolor, acrylic and textiles. Visitors will also be able to talk with the artists and consider purchasing their work.
