Police late Wendesday night identified the fourth suspect in Saturday’s College Park double-homicide.

Christopher Lorenzo Varner, 23, is wanted for his part in the execution-style shooting deaths of Lanaetria Renee Butler and Karida Winkler.

Earlier in the day, police arrested and charged 18-year-old Boubacar Tradre, and 19-year-olds Anthony Wilder and Carnell Owens with murder for trying to rob Winkler and Butler.

A third roommate found the two women Sunday morning shot to death inside their apartment at 3100 Godby Road, police said.

Each women had been shot once in the head, police said.

Authorities say Varner is known by his nickname, “Calico.”

Wilder was arrested Tuesday night in Union City on different charges, College Park police detective Sgt. Eddie Atkins said.

“We had a tip that he had information,” Atkins said of Wilder. “Detectives interviewed him and he confessed.”

During the interview, Wilder gave up two of his accomplices, Atkins said.

Owens was picked up at 2727 Godby Road, an apartment complex just blocks away from Butler’s and Winkler’s apartment, police said.

Tradre was arrested in an apartment in the same complex where the women lived, but police declined to say whether he knew them.

The three arrested suspects are being held at the College Park jail without bond, police said.

Police continue to investigate the murders, and ask that anyone with information on the case call the College Park police tip lines at 404-768-8664 or 404-766-3131.
