Cobb County police are investigating an armed robbery at a Little Ceasars Pizza Monday night in Marietta.

The robbery took place around 9 p.m. at the restaurant at 2325 Powder Springs Road.

According to police, a male suspect entered the restaurant as employees were cleaning in the back. The suspect displayed a handgun and ordered employees on the ground and then ordered a manager to open a cash register.

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to a police press release.

No one was injured in the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male roughly 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 160 pounds. He was seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, black skull cap, a black and white camouflage bandanna and gloves, according to police.
