Two employees of an Atlantic Station shoe store were tied up Tuesday during a late-night armed robbery.

The suspects, a man and a woman, entered the Journeys store on 19th Street shortly before 11:30 p.m. and tied up the employees, Atlanta police spokesman Eric Schwartz said.

The employees were able to untie themselves, and were not injured, Schwartz said.

He said the suspects, one of them armed with a handgun, made off with the employees' cell phones as well as an undetermined amount of cash.
