Alpharetta residents can shred personal and confidential documents for free from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Alpharetta Crossing Shopping Center at 11770 Haynes Bridge Road.

The city, Eco Shredding and Starbucks at Alpharetta Crossing are joining to provide an on-site shredding truck. There’s a five-box limit per resident for the free shredding. Residents with more than five boxes should contact EcoShredding.

For more information, contact Terry Porter, Alpharetta’s environmental education coordinator, at 678-297-6200 or tporter@alpharetta.ga.us.
