If you can’t beat the summer heat, at least you can enjoy it. That’s the theory behind Alpharetta’s 2019 summer concert series lineup.

The city in north Fulton County announced on April 2 on Facebook that its Saturday series at Brooke Street Park near city hall begins May 18 with the Alpharetta Symphony.

Home by Dark, a collection of musicians, will be fronted by different guest artists for basically the rest of the series, which ends Sept. 14.

Notable among the lineup is Caeland Garner, a North Carolina native who appeared on NBC’s “The Voice.” He impressed judges during the blind audition with a rendition of King Harvest’s 1972 hit “Dancing in the Moonlight.”

July 13 – Home By Dark featuring Christopher Cross band member, Marcia Ramirez, and Caeland Garner from NBC's "The Voice"

Sept. 14 – Home By Dark featuring JP Williams, Jimmie Allen (writer "Best Shot," which topped Billboard's Country Airplay chart) and also Sabrina
