I-985 lane closures set for interchange work

Motorists can expect overnight lane closures and traffic pacing on I-985 as the Georgia Department of Transportation sets new bridge beams as part of the Exit 14 interchange project in Flowery Branch.
I-985 southbound will see right lane closures and traffic pacing from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 13, and Thursday, June 14; and left lane closures and traffic pacing the same hours Sunday, June 17, and Monday, June 18, from Mundy Mill Road (Ga. 53) to Sprout Springs Road.
Right lane closures and traffic pacing will shift to the I-985 northbound lanes the same hours Tuesday, June 19; and Wednesday, June 20, from Sprout Springs to Mundy Mill.
