The Atlanta Dogwood Festival will return to Piedmont Park for its 84th year, the festival announced Thursday.

It will be held from Friday, April 17 to Sunday, April 19.

Nearly 200,000 attendees are expected at this year’s festival, which features fine art, live music, international entertainment, amusement rides and a 5K run. There will also be activities for children and youth art events and a disc dog competition.

The Atlanta Dogwood Festival is the city’s largest and longest-running fine arts festival and the third oldest in the country.

The festival’s nonprofit supports arts and educational programs in more than 75 metro Atlanta high schools.
