The Stone Mountain Tennis Center is an eyesore no more -- because it’s, um, not really anything anymore.

The site where Gwinnett County played host to events during Atlanta's 1996 Olympics, the tennis center languished in disrepair in the years following the Games. The county eventually obtained the property and, last summer, cleared it for demolition.

The stated goal was to clear the property and give potential developers a blank slate for dreaming up projects. While the county has not yet issued a formal request for proposals for the site, it appears the slate is just about ... blanked.
