Gwinnett County will spend $650,000 to rehabilitate the pavement at Pinckneyville Parks in Norcross under a contract approved by the Board of Commissioners Tuesday.

Commissioners awarded the contract to low bidder Atlanta Paving & Concrete Construction Inc. The company will resurface driveways and parking lots at the Pinckneyville soccer complex and the baseball softball parks.

To pay for the project, Gwinnett will use money from a voter-approved 2014 special sales tax for construction.
