The transformation of Fulton County government continued Wednesday, when the county filled two key administrative posts.
Sallie Fulsom Wright, formerly deputy chief information officer at Georgia State University, will become Fulton's new chief information officer. She will lead an Information Technology Department that has come under scrutiny because of two recent audits that found mismanagement of vendor contracts. She has more than 30 years of experience in IT executive leadership.
Hakeem Oshikoya, previously budget manager and interim finance director, will become the permanent finance director. He has more than 25 years of experience in public finance.
County Manager Dick Anderson, who made the appointments, said the positions are “critical in helping Fulton County to realize the vision of being first in efficiency, service and impact.”
Anderson has filled a slew of top administrative posts recently as he tries to remake Fulton County government.
