Voters in DeKalb County can start casting ballots on Monday, April 30, ahead of the May 22 Election Day.

Brookhaven leaders say the city will be left without a high school, while the county school board officials think the move would be cost effective.

Three sites will be open for in-person advance voting Monday through May 18:

  • Voter Registration & Elections Office (including a separate area exclusively for seniors and disabled voters), 4380 Memorial Drive in Decatur
  • The Gallery at South DeKalb Mall, 2801 Candler Road in Decatur
  • Dunwoody Library, 5339 Chamblee Dunwoody Road in Dunwoody

Seven more sites will open for advance voting from May 14 through 18:

  • Coan Recreation Center, 1530 Woodbine Avenue SE in Atlanta
  • Briarwood Recreation Center, 2235 Briarwood Way NE in Brookhaven
  • North DeKalb Senior Center, 3301 Malone Drive in Chamblee
  • First Christian Church of Decatur, 601 W. Ponce de Leon Avenue in Decatur
  • Berean Community Center, 2440 Young Road in Stone Mountain
  • Stonecrest Library, 3123 Klondike Road in Lithonia
  • Reid H. Cofer Library, 5234 LaVista Road in Tucker

Voters will select candidates for an array of offices in both partisan primaries and nonpartisan races. Runoffs will be held on July 24. The general election is Nov. 6.
