Braves set to make major development announcement Tuesday
The Atlanta Braves are set to make a “major announcement” Tuesday related to its mixed-use development near SunTrust Park. A press conference, led by Braves’ Chairman and CEO Terry McGuirk, is scheduled for 11 a.m.
No additional information was provided by the team.
The last major announcement came in March, when the team announced a sponsorship agreement with Comcast. The cable giant will become an anchor tenant in an office tower to be constructed as part of the mixed-use development, and will provide cutting-edge Internet connectivity and other technology throughout the stadium and complex of shops, restaurants, apartments and hotel.
No other tenants in the mixed-use development have been announced.
