Houston Davis, who was Kennesaw State University's interim president for several months this year, has been named the next president of the University of Central Arkansas, KSU officials said Thursday.

The University of Central Arkansas Board of Trustees voted unanimously Wednesday to appoint Davis, according to local news accounts. A starting date hasn’t been determined, the reports said.
