Lil Keed, whose real name was Raqhid Jevon Render, died early Saturday morning at the age of 24, according to his brother Lil Gotit’s verified Instagram page.

Render was born in Atlanta with ties to the same Cleveland Avenue neighborhood as Young Thug. The cause of death has not been released at this time.

Lil Keed was one of several rappers signed to Young Thug’s Young Slime Life (or Young Stoner Life) record label. However, he was not part of the indictment that led to Young Thug’s and Gunna’s arrests earlier this week.

A total of 28 people have been arrested and charged in connection to Young Thug, who is accused of co-founding a violent street gang. Their charges include racketeering, murder and RICO violations.

Lil Keed was among the performers at the sold-out Back Outside Tour at State Farm Arena in December.
