Officials in Atlanta are looking for an inmate who walked away from a transitional center Tuesday.

Melissa Nadine Menzies, 22, is sought by the Georgia Department of Corrections after she reportedly left the Metro Transitional Center.

Menzies was being housed in the center while serving a sentence for robbery, according to GDC records. She has been in custody since 2014. According to records, she is not eligible for release until August 2023.

Menzies is described as 5-foot-1 and about 163 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
