MAP: Gwinnett rejected MARTA expansion. How did your neighbors vote?
Precinct-level results show a bloc of “yes” voters along I-85, where a MARTA rail station and other transit expansions were planned. Voters along congested Peachtree Industrial Boulevard on the county’s northern end also favored approval, as did those in the county’s southern and heavily Democratic tip. Voters elsewhere solidly rejected the referendum.
