It’s not really the holidays until Starbucks reveals its annual cup designs. On Thursday, the coffee juggernaut will release its coveted cup designs and other holiday treats.
Starting Nov. 7, Starbucks will begin serving hot beverages in a variety of designs including the longtime favorite design of the red cup with the signature logo, polka dots and one with the word “merry” wrapped around it. Each cup design has a unifying green stripe that appears like a ribbon.

But the much-anticipated cups are just the beginning. Here’s what else to expect this holiday season at Starbucks.
Thursday Starbucks freebie
On Thursday, Starbucks will celebrate the kickoff of the season by giving everyone who orders a holiday beverage of any size a free limited-edition reusable red cup, while supplies last. That offer is available in the U.S. and Canada.

With all the mania over the cups, one might forget that Starbucks is, in fact, a coffee spot. For the holidays, stores across the country will bring holiday cheer with their signature seasonal beverages. Beginning Thursday, customers can order the Peppermint Mocha, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte and Eggnog Latte. Each can be served as hot, iced and Frappuccino-blended.
Hack: If you want to cut down on some of the seasonal sweetness, you can ask to order any of these beverages with less pumps of syrup.
