The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is searching for witnesses to a fatal crash on Atlanta Highway that left a woman dead and a man injured Tuesday afternoon.

The sheriff’s office specifically mentioned a man seen jogging around the time of the accident, about 2:30 p.m. just south of Friendship Road.

The man and woman involved were each driving and were the only occupants of the two cars, the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post.

The woman was dead at the scene, while the man was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center. The sheriff’s office did not share the condition of the injured man or the identities of either driver.
