Some members of the East Atlanta 40+ Double Dutch Club have been jumping since they were children. Others are just learning. The only requirements for membership: you must be a woman and you must be over age 40.

The 40+ Double Dutch Club isn't just about jumping Double Dutch. Members in the East Atlanta sub-club gathered to play the Rockin' Robin hand game.

Denise Word (R) is co-captain of the 40+ Double Dutch Club which was formed in July 2020 as a sub-club of the Chicago-based organization.

Delilah Allison helps organize donations for Hosea Feed the Hungry. Each quarter, the group does community service activities including donations, jumping lessons and performances.

Members of the East Atlanta 40+ Double Dutch Club participate in a fitness game that involves rhythmic stepping in a pattern.

The East Atlanta 40+ Double Dutch Club ends the evening with a line dance around the gym. The group meets each week at a church in Ellenwood.

Jerri McElroy, created the East Atlanta sub-club of the 40+ Double Dutch Club in 2020. She was seeking a respite from serving as caregiver to her father and wanted to join a club that was conveniently located near her home.
