Fatal wreck closes I-20 eastbound in DeKalb

The Georgia Department of Transportation confirmed one fatality in the crash and said at 7 a.m. that it would likely be at least 9 a.m. before the wreckage is cleared. BOB ANDRES/BANDRES@AJC.COM

All eastbound lanes of I-20 in DeKalb County were shut down during the early stages of Friday’s morning commute while authorities investigated and cleared a fatal wreck involving a tractor-trailer and a smaller vehicle. BOB ANDRES/BANDRES@AJC.COM
