The Dinosaur Explore exhibit is returning to Stone Mountain Park in April.

Stone Mountain Park will transform itself into “Jurassic Park” to kick off spring.

The DeKalb County theme park is holding its Dinosaur Explore exhibit from April 3 to April 11 as part of its annual Spring FUN Break festivities, according to a news release. Some of the park’s wooded trails will be outfitted with 20 animatronic dinosaurs — all of which will be pretty hard to miss. Nearly every recognizable dinosaur will be present, from a Tyrannosaurus rex to a triceratops to a brachiosaurus.

The park will also debut a new exhibit, the Pompeyo Family Dogs. It’s a canine show that many might have seen on “America’s Got Talent,” where rescue dogs of all sizes perform tricks. The parks year-round attractions will also be open during this time.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the park is still operating at a reduced capacity. Masks are also required except in specific “mask free break zones.” Temperature checks will also be performed before entry into the park, which is located at 1000 Robert E Lee Boulevard.

The park will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. during this timeframe. From April 3 through April 10, the park will cap off its day of activities with The Lasershow Spectacular at 8:30 p.m. Advance reservations are required.
