Surveillance video shows moment Atlanta crosswalk accident claimed man's life

Surveillance footage shows the moment 67-year-old Pradeep Kumar Sood was struck and killed by a gray Nissan pickup truck while crossing Peachtree Street on February 11. The accident happened at a crosswalk near AmericasMart and Peachtree Center, an area with ongoing safety concerns. Despite a crosswalk being added in 2021, faded markings and poor signage continue to pose risks. Locals are calling for reforms to protect pedestrians.
