Woman shot to death at SW Atlanta apartment complex

A woman died Monday night after being shot at an apartment complex in southwest Atlanta, authorities said.

Atlanta police were called at about 10:30 p.m. to the Harmony Plaza Apartments on Myrtle Avenue. The complex is between Campbellton Road and Langford Parkway in the Campbellton Road neighborhood.

When officers arrived, they found the woman, who was not publicly identified, suffering from several gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead by medical crews, police said.
